The first ink that I ever bought and has remained as my favorite since the beginning. It was created by the r/fountainpens community on reddit as part of the annual diamine collaboration.

Diamine’s 80ml bottles are definitely a sight to see. The glass bottle has a vintage feel to it. The wide body makes it easy to refill pens.
My Asvine V126 is always inked up with writers blood as it matches the demonstrator so well. The ink sloshing around side to side looks like real blood.

The color resembles a deep maroon or burgundy color. Such a beauty to write with as it’s one of the wettest inks I’ve touched. It flows out of the nib like a dream. Especially in dry nibs, there is a surprising amount of shading as the ink turns into a pretty deep pink.
Just look at that beauty.

A very sheeny in on the right paper. Here we have Midori MD, and the ink turns completely into a beautiful golden sheen.

Overall I love this color and I don’t see it leaving my rotation anytime soon. A rich deep maroon color that satisfies my itch for a deep almost black but not quite black ink.
