Black n’ Red notebooks are some of the most cost efficient fountain pen friendly paper available. I was gifted this notebook by a good friend of mine. I love the red and black theme.
The book is bound with a thick black cover and a red spine. Also contains a red book mark.
Black n’ Red notebooks come with optik paper inside, a very well suited paper for fountain pen inks. It comes in a white shade, smooth and silky feel, and bleed/ghosting resistant.
I received my notebook in the ruled variant. One thing to note is the ruled lines are much wider than Leuchtturm1917 or Midori MD. The paper is rather thick, I would guess around 80-90 gsm.
Overall Black n’ Red notebooks are an excellent choice for day to day journaling and note taking. It’s great for people who like to write bigger like me 🙂 If you write smaller, I would recommend another paper.
