Part of the Iroshizuku line, known for being lubricated and wet, take-sumi holds up its reputation. They’ve been on heavy discounts everywhere, I bought this on amazon for $18. I inked up my brand new Asvine C80 fine nib with this gorgeous ink.
Iroshizuku bottles are simply beautiful. The glass container reminds me of a cologne bottle. The little grey scarf adds to the elegance. There’s a little divot in the bottom thats useful for inking up every last drop.

A neutral black with a little bit of red sheen. Not the darkest black, allowing it to shade in some pens.
It’s a dream to write with. Extremely wet and smooth, allowing the nib to glide across the paper. Dry times are a little bit longer than normal but nothing out of the ordinary.

I’m not normally too fond of black inks, I love my colors :)) However, this ink is one of my staples. A reliable well behaved ink thats easy to clean. Count me in. I use it just about for everything from note taking to sketching. When using it, I don’t want to stop writing. I highly recommend to try it out for yourself!
